International HPV Awareness Day​

– Webinar
Organized on 2 March 2023, under the theme “Promoting Solutions Across the MENA Region“, the webinar tackled HPV elimination challenges and solutions in the region and garnered great interest from over 60 attendees. Participants included officials from the regional offices of WHO and UNICEF, as well as representatives from health ministries, civil society organizations, and media outlets from various MENA countries.

– Social Media Campaign
In support of the international theme of #OneLessWorry, and towards ramping up HPV vaccination and ensuring equitable access to cervical cancer preventative care, awareness posts, Q&As, as well as short video capsules and quote cards from regional champions, were developed and amplified across the coalition’s social media channels. A social media toolkit was also developed to amplify key messages across digital channels.
